The Spectrum Health difference
Spectrum Health is Ken Bartman’s private anesthesia practice. It is not a staffing company or large provider group.
When you reach out, you communicate directly with the clinician who may provide the coverage. That means fewer layers, clear expectations and a professional relationship built around the needs of your schedule and clinical setting.
Experience made tangible
Ken brings more than 25 years of CRNA experience and approximately two decades operating Spectrum Health as an independent private practice.
Settings served
Focused exclusively on the types of Chicagoland facilities and practices Ken works with.
Flexible support for established outpatient surgical schedules and facility workflows.
Anesthesia coverage for busy endoscopy schedules and outpatient procedural workflows.
Professional coverage for appropriate office and outpatient surgical environments.
Experienced support that integrates with focused ophthalmic procedure schedules.
Flexible anesthesia coverage for appropriate outpatient orthopedic settings.
An experienced anesthesia resource for appropriate fertility clinic procedures.
Flexible by design
Whether the need is a single date, recurring coverage or a longer assignment, the right starting point is a direct conversation about the schedule.

About Ken
For more than 25 years, Ken has built his career around anesthesia and the professional responsibility that comes with joining an established clinical team.
He holds a Master of Science in Nursing and has operated Spectrum Health Inc. for approximately 20 years. During that time, he has practiced independently in environments with and without medical direction or supervision, as appropriate to the facility, setting, regulations and contractual arrangement.
Ken’s approach is prepared, collaborative, calm and adaptable. As a Chicagoland based clinician, he works directly with outpatient facilities, physician practices and recruiting professionals seeking an experienced CRNA resource.
